Rao Chelli, President and Founder

Rao Chelli is the President and Founder of Amberstone and is responsible for driving and delivering overall solutions and technology strategy for Amberstone and Amberstone’s customers. Mr. Rao Chelli oversees the business transformation of Amberstone customers using transformational solutions though state-of-the-art enterprise architecture initiatives. His responsibilities include business development and solutions, and strategy evangelism.

Rao is a global technology leader and a cloud strategist with experience in IT consulting,Pre-sales, Cloud&Digital transformation solutions architecture and leading complex IT system implementation.He has a solid track record of value creation both to customers and employers and in driving revenue through enterprise cloud,digital transformation, future state architecture design and optimizing IT infra and ERP environments. He serves as a trusted adviser to key business and technology decision-makers and maintains a relentless focus on customer success.

Rao has a particular focus on Cloud platforms, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.  In his role at IBM, he operates as Cloud evangelist by facilitating the adoption of Oracle cloud infrastructure for Oracle ERPs, Cloud based managed services and Artificial Intelligence solutions which, when combined with IBM’s Cognitive solutions, facilitates his customer’s move to the hybrid and Multi cloud platforms.

Prior to IBM, Rao served in various Cloud infra roles at HCL America, Oracle Corporation and GE where his primary mission was to create innovative Next-Gen ITO and to lead Cloud (OCI,AWS,AZURE ) migrations to drive quantifiable business value.

Rao is also a TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect, a published Oracle book coauthor as well as an expert in cloud migration and digital transformation solutions architecture.
